Hazco
in
South America
By
Tatiana Castillo, Hazco , Peru
Hazco
Environmental Services del Peru was formed in August 2001, in
Lima-Peru. We received permanent support from HAZCO (
Canada
). The former
general manager was Colin Beresford who was in
Peru
permanently for
three years.
The
people from
Canada
who came several
times to
Peru
to give us
induction, instruction and support were (up to now) Jim Rose, Keith
Rose and Darrel Lawes.
Actually
HAZCO Peru is formed entirely by Peruvian people.
Our current projects:
- La
Pampilla refinery project ( (US$ 16 Million).
- Construction
of a concrete fence in La Pampilla refinery. (US$ 220 K)
- Remediation
project in the Jorge Chavez International Airport of Lima
(US$
600 K)
We are trying to increase the market over here, preparing some
proposals that HAZCO Peru has received recently. We are sure the
company will get new projects sooner than we think.
