Hazco purchases Western Waste Management
Hazco is pleased to announce its recent purchase of Western
Waste Management (WWM). WWM is a Vancouver-based company which
provides filter press, dredging and tank rentals services across
Western Canada and the Northwest United States.
Several of WWM employees have joined the HAZCO team, most
notably Mike Dow, who will assume the role of operations
coordinator.
The WWM team brings over 25 years experience as owner
operators of a fleet of filterpresses, mix-tans, liquid storage
tanks, dredge and ancillary equipment. This selection of equipment
will allow us to set up operations in isolation and also provide our
own power to operate the equipment.
This is a natural fit for Hazco as many of WWM customers
are existing HAZCO customers. This acquisition will solidify
HAZCO’s position as one of the only comprehensive environmental
companies in
Canada
. allowing us to service all our clients’ environmental needs in
house.
WWM will now be placed under the HAZCO umbrella and
operate wholly and solely as a division within HAZCO.

New
helping old
Recently we had a
pump break down at our Beaverlodge transfer station and the
Edmonton
transfer station came through with a replacement for us. As fluid
transfer is an integral part of our business having a working pump
is important to us. The
Edmonton
team definitely deserves a pat on the back for this support.
